Late Post: Feast of Vllr

I’m not exactly sure if this is a Heathen holiday, but I’m going to put it down. I didn’t celebrate this because I wasn’t feeling well. But I did pray to the gods and I did thank them for the small things that they have given me. The gods have given me pride and that, to me, is the most important thing. I enjoy talking to them and letting them know that I’m here. I hope that you had a good one and I hope this is an actual Heathen holiday.

Happy Veterans Day (2014)

Today is Veteran’s day and the feast of the Einherjar. I’m not exactly sure what the purpose of this holiday but it’s listed as a day that Heathens honor those that are in Odin’s hall and it’s a wide spread ritual. I’m not going to really do anything huge. I’m going out and buying what I need for Thanksgiving and get the cake for my mother. Personally it should be a really good feast and I know that I’m going to enjoy it.

HAIL THOR!!!!

Late Post: Remembrance for Queen Sigieth of Sweden

I had ever intention to do this yesterday but I forgot that this blog is several hours ahead. Yesterday I poured a drink to Queen Sigieth of Sweden, who defied King Olaf by not becoming a Christian. She stated that she didn’t care what gods that he worshiped but that she would keep the gods of her family. He slapped her, calling her a Heathen bitch. That was the wrong thing to do. She ended up marrying the King that would later on defeat and kill King Olaf. I just really laugh at how stupid this man was.

But then again, most men are stupid.

I really enjoyed this celebration, even though it was a simple blot. And I will be doing it again tomorrow.

HAIL THOR!
