Late Post: The End of Thorrablot (2015)

Hail to All Heathens,

Sorry about not posting this on the 26th. But Thorrablot is over and I’m most excited at the wonderful time that I had. I enjoyed everything about it and I’m looking forward to celebrating it again. Thanks everyone that read my post or even looked at my blog. I hope that Thor watched over you and protected you. Now we move onto the next Sabbath, which is shared by Wiccans. Soon Spring will be here and we can leave all this cold weather behind.

HAIL TO ODIN!!!! HAIL TO THOR!!!!

Thorrablot (2015) (Day 9)

Today is the 9th, and final day of Thorrablot. It has been one wild ride and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. There were times that I really wondered what is the need for such a long feast but then I realized that the gods want us to be happy and that’s enough for me. I want to please the gods of my ancestors and the gods of my kin. I hope that you all had a good one and that the gods shined down upon you.

I know that they have me.

HAIL TO THOR!!!! HAIL TO ODIN!!!!

Thorrablot (2015) (Day 5)

Today is day five of Thorrablot. I hope that your all continuing to have a good time. I’m having a good time and thinking about the coming of spring. I know, sounds corny, but that’s what I’m doing. I hope that you all have a wonderful remainder of your holiday. I sure am.

HAIL TO THOR!!!! HAIL TO ODIN!!!!

Thorrablot (2015) (Day 4)

Today is day 4 of Thorrablot. I really didn’t do anything special on this day. I just thought about the gods, prayed to them for strength, and thanked them for my family. Not much of anything. I really do feel the need to finally get with some local Heathens.

HAIL TO THOR!!!! HAIL TO ODIN!!!!

Thorrablot (2015) (Day 3)

Today is the third day of Thorrablot. It was too cold to go and pour the libation to Thor. Personally I can’t wait for winter to end. But these holidays give me hope that the cold season will soon be over and the warmth will return. I really love that about these holidays.

HAIL ODIN!!!! HAIL THOR!!!!

Thorrablot (2015) (Day 2)

Today is day 2 of Thorrablot. I hope that your first one was good. Mine was wonderful and I enjoyed every moment of it. I made a dinner and gave an offering to Thor. I also burned incense as well. It might not be how the Heathens do it, but this is my own ritual. I don’t need anyone telling me how to worship the gods.

HAIL THOR!!!! HAIL ODIN!!!!

Thorrablot (2015) (Day 1)

Today is the first day of Thorrablot, which will be the first of several continuous blog posts. Here some info about the holiday.

An Icelandic holiday in honor of Old Man Winter, at which traditional winter-preserved food is eaten, washed down with lots of alcohol. North American heathens generally celebrate it in honor of Thor. As I don’t drink mead, wine, or anything alcoholic, I will raise a glass of my favorite drink in honor of him. I hope that Thor blesses and protects you all.

HAIL THOR!!!! HAIL ODIN!!!!
